The number of men and women in the world classed as obese has soared since the 1970s.

Experts now believe 18% of men and 21% of women across the globe will be obese by 2025.

More than 6% of men and 9% of women will be severely obese.

The study including adults in 186 countries found that the number of obese people worldwide had risen from 105 million in 1975 to 641 million in 2014.
