A sexual assault claim against actor Sylvester Stallone is being reviewed by prosecutors in Los Angeles.
The alleged assault is being investigated by the sex crime team after being presented by the Santa Monica Police Department.
In December, Stallone’s lawyer said that a woman had “filed a police report alleging a rape that occurred 27 years ago”.
The 71-year-old has “categorically disputed the claim”.
At the time, Santa Monica Police said they were investigating a complaint that was made in November 2017 of alleged sexual misconduct in the 1990s.
Last year, a 16-year-old girl accused Stallone and his bodyguard of sexually assaulting her in a Las Vegas hotel room in the 1980s, which he also denies.
Stallone is the latest in a string of stars to be accused of sexual misconduct in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal.
Making his name in the 1970s in boxing film Rocky, Stallone went on to become one of Hollywood’s biggest action stars thanks to the Rocky and Rambo film franchises.
He has been married to former model and entrepreneur Jennifer Flavin for 21 years, and together they have three daughters, Sophia Rose, Sistine Rose and Scarlet Rose.
