A woman has been sentenced to 25 months in prison after starting a major fire at Nottingham railway station.
Gemma Peat admitted starting the fire in the women’s toilet, which caused more than £5.6m in damage to the station in January last year.
The 34-year-old heroin addict had been taking drugs in the toilet before the fire began.
Around 60 firefighters battled the blaze at the Grade II listed station on the morning of 12 January.
It spread to the main concourse and roof and caused major travel disruption.
